All American Meat Loaf
This is a family favorite. Chris likes it too. I found the recipe in Southern Living 1993 Annual Recipes.
ingredients
Meatloaf- 2 pounds ground beef
- 3/4 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard
directions
Meatloaf
Combine all ingredients above in a large bowl. Divide into 2 loaf pans. Bake one pan at 350 for 40 minutes. Freeze the other one for later.
Sauce
Combine all ingredients above in a bowl. Spoon over meat loaf, and bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes.

The horseradish makes it so tasty!
