Homemade Kahlua

Easy to make Kahlua! Have plenty on hand for guests.

ingredients

4 cups sugar
3 cups water. Heat to a boil (simmer about 10 min.)
2 oz. instant coffee
1 cup water.

directions

Heat water to dissolve coffee. Mix with sugar and water. Add a bottle of brandy or vodka (a fifth bottle size) 1 slice vanilla bean in ech bottle, this yields about 3 bottles. Set for 2 weeks before using.
