This dough is so thick it needs to be mixed with your hands. The more you mix and knead, the more you get out your “aggressions” and the better the cookies taste.
- 1 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c margarine(3 sticks),softened. Do Not Use Tub margarine
- 3 c oatmeal(uncooked)
- 1 1/4 t baking soda
- 1 1/2 c flour
If you make them too big they will be very thick and chewy instead of thin and crispy.Recipe can easily be doubled to make about 15 dozen.
