Aggression Cookies

This dough is so thick it needs to be mixed with your hands. The more you mix and knead, the more you get out your “aggressions” and the better the cookies taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c margarine(3 sticks),softened. Do Not Use Tub margarine
  • 3 c oatmeal(uncooked)
  • 1 1/4 t baking soda
  • 1 1/2 c flour

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Place all ingredients in large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. You will need to use your hands as it will be very thick. Squeeze and knead the dough, getting out all your aggressions until thoroughly mixed. Roll into 1" balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet at least 3 inches apart as they will spread.Flatten with bottom of a small glass that has been buttered and dipped in granulated sugar. Bake at 350 degrees F. about 10 minutes. Cool about 3 minutes before removing from baking sheet with broad spatula. Cool on waxed paper.

If you make them too big they will be very thick and chewy instead of thin and crispy.Recipe can easily be doubled to make about 15 dozen.
