SPICED COCKTAIL NUTS

ingredients

  • 3 cups of Deluxe Planter mixed nuts
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    Put nuts in bowl and set aside.

  • 3

    Melt butter in saucepan and add the thyme leaves, cumin, mustard, cayenne, allspice and pepper.

    Allow to simmer for 1 minute.

    Pour over nuts and coat.

  • 6

    Put nuts onto a baking sheet in one layer and bake till golden brown about 20 minutes.

    Remove and let cool toss with salt serve.
