Barbecued Chicken

ingredients

  • Marinade
  • 3 cups vinegar
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons catsup
  • 9 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Black pepper
  • Browning Sauce
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 9 tablespoons margarine
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1

    Cut chicken into pieces; pierce chicken with a fork; arrange in large pan and cover with marinade. Refrigerate overnight.

    To cook, place chicken on grill (bony-side down) and baste with the marinade for the first half of cooking time, then browning sauce for the last half of cooking time. Any remaining browning sauce may be heated and served with the chicken.
