Loretta’s Sugar Cookieswendy little
- 1 c butter
- 1/2 pack cream cheese (4 0z)
- 1 c sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp almond extract (or vanilla)
- 2 1/4 c flour (maybe a little more)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
Mix first 6 ingredients. Separately, mix remaining 3 ingredients and slowly add to the first mixture. You may need to add a little more flour if the dough is not the right consistency for rolling out.
Roll the dough to approximately 1/8 inch and cut with cookie cutters.
Bake at 375 for approximately 10 minutes for larger cookies and 8 minutes for smaller cookies. Don’t brown them.
