Chicken On A Skewer
Make the skewers ahead, place in freezer, and you will have a meal ready for the grill. Thaw, grill and enjoy.
ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch cubes
- Marinade
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 3 tsp dry white wine
- 4 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 to 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp onion salt
- dash of garlic powder
directions

Cube chicken and thread onto 6 or 8 skewers.

Place skewers in 9 by 13 inch dish.

Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken.

Cover and chill at least three hours or place in freezer for longer storage.

Drain before grilling.

Grill over hot coals 5 to 8 minutes per side.

Serve with wild rice.

Good for dinner parties because it can be made ahead and the host and hostess can enjoy the friends instead of sweating in the kitchen. Additional flavorings can be added to the marinade such as basil, poultry seasoning,fresh ground pepper,seasoned salt.
