Mungo Salad
Wonderful italian salad!!
ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/8c powdered or minced garlic
- 1 1/2 Tbsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 8 oz. red wine vinegar
- vegetable oil
- olive oil
- Red leaf lettuce
- Romaine lettuce
- Iceburg lettuce
- Parmesan cheese
- green onions
- Provel cheese shredded
- 1/3 lb proscuitto ham, sauted in olive oil OR crumbled, fried bacon

Add all ingredients in a blender EXCEPT the two oils. Add the two oils simultaneously until the ingredients reach the 24 ounce mark on the blender. Blend well.

Wash and spin dry lettuce; tear into a large bowl. Add parmesan cheese to taste, green onions, provel cheese and ham/bacon. Approximately 10-15 minutes before serving, add salad dressing to taste and toss; let rest before serving.
