Beef and Mozzarella Bake
ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp dried basil leaves, crushed
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1 (11 1/8 oz) can condensed Italian Tomato Soup
- 1 (10 3/4 oz) can condensed Cream of Mushroom soup
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups (6 oz)shredded mozzarella, divided
- 4 cups cooked medium shell macaroni (about 3 cups dry)

Preheat oven to 400.

In 10" skillet, over medium high heat, cook beef, basil, pepper and garlic powder until browned, stirring to separate meat. Spoon off fat.

Stir in soups, water and 1 cup of the cheese; add macaroni.

In 2 qt oblong baking dish, spoon mixture. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella and bake for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbling.
