Baked Macaroni
ingredients
- 1 lb. elbow macaroni
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 8 slices American cheese
- 2 – 3 Tbsp. flour
- Parsley flakes
- Paprika
- Ground pepper

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Cook macaroni according to package directions and drain. Put cooked macaroni in a Pyrex type dish.

In a saucepan, combine milk, 1/2 of a stick of butter, 5 slices of cheese, flour, and 1/2 tsp. pepper. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil. As soon as mixture boils, pour over macaroni and mix in. Add more cheese, about 2 or 3 more slices. Just break off small pieces and “stick in” macaroni. Do the same with another 1/2 stick of butter. Sprinkle parsley flakes and paprika. Bake for 1/2 hour or until brown on top. Enjoy!
