  • 3 eggs
  • 1 t soda
  • 1 t salt
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 T water
Filling
  • 2 cups raisins
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 T flour or cornstarch

This recipe was given to my mother by Evelyn Day. This was another traditional cookie that my parents made together each Christmas. They would always bake a few without the filling for my sister and me. We thought the cooked raisins were gross!
