Zip-lock Omelet

ingredients

  • 1 dz eggs
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 lb sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 slices thick cut deli ham
  • 2 sweet peppers, diced (red, green, yellow, orange)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, diced
  • Milk

    Pre-cook the meats, drain grease and put each in their own bowl. In the same skillet(s) used saute vegetables until al denté and put each in their own bowl, i.e. Peppers, mushrooms, onions. Put the cheese in a bowl.

    Put all ingredients on the counter and bring out the eggs, milk, salsa, sour cream. Put a large pot of water on the stove and bring to a rolling boil.

    Give each guest a zip-lock and instruct them to crack the number of eggs they want, milk if desired, and the toppings that they want in the bag. Shake well. Drop sealed zip-lock in the boiling water and boil for 3-4 minutes or until the egg is done. Remove the zip-lock with tongs and carefully open and pour onto a plate.
