CHICKEN FRIED STEAK W/ MILK GRAVY
Goes great with broccoli potatoes.
ingredients
- 4-6 medium size round steaks
- (big enough for 1 person)
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic (ptional)
- Salt & pepper to taste

HEAT oil in skillet. Pound out the steaks until they are 1/2 inch thick.

Salt - pepper (garlic)both sides.

Beat eggs in a bowl. Put flour in another bowl. Dredge steaks through flour - then egg mixture - then through flour again.

PLACE steaks in skillet and brown on both sides. Place on paper towels & put in microwave-to keep warm.

POUR off all oil except 3 tblspns - add flour (approx 3-4 tblspns) then stir over medium heat til golden brown.

GRADUALLY add the leftover milk to the oil mixture while stirring constantly.

SEASON gravy to taste. Let cook till thickened. Pour gravy over the steaks and serve.
