This titillating Tilapia hits the fish-eye for those who want fish without the fishy taste!

ingredients

  • 4 med. Tilapia fillets (1 Lb)
  • 1 Lg tomato, sliced
  • 4 Lg slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 Lg lemon
  • steak seasoning
  • dried oregano

directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

    2. Place the fish fillets into a 9x13-inch glass baking dish. Slice lemon in half and squeeze the juice out over the fillets, turning them to coat evenly. Sprinkle steak seasoning over both sides of the fish.

    3. Lay a slice of Swiss cheese over the fillets and place a tomato slice over each. Sprinkle dried oregano over the top.

    4. Bake for 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

    5. Serve hot with your favorite side dish (such as egg noodles, rice or veggies), and garnish with a thin lemon slice or two.

If you prefer to cook your Tilapia on the grille: First spray cold grille with cooking spray. Brush fish with olive oil. Cook for about 5 min. each side, turning carefully. Add lemon juice and seasonings. Melt cheese during last minute on grille. TaDaa!PK
