Devil Dogs
ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2cup cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup milk or water
- Filling:
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 1 cup confectioner sugar
- 1 cup fluff (small jar)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- Milk, if needed

Beat margarine and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla.

Mix flour, salt, cocoa, baking soda and baking powder. Add with milk and water to above mixture.

Drop on foil-covered baking sheets by rounded tablespoon full. Bake at 425° for 5-7 minutes. Cool.

For filling, cream Crisco and confectioner sugar until smooth. Beat fluff, vanilla and milk with Crisco mixture until smooth.

Fill Devil Dogs and wrap in plastic wrap.
