Mom's Salami Bread

From Cathy Towers. She always makes an extra one for her brother - Tom D. - because he loves them so much.

ingredients

  • One package pre-made, frozen pizza dough
  • 1/4 lbs. hard Genoa salami
  • 1/4 lbs. hard pepperoni
  • 1 package shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheese of your choice)
  • Sesame seeds
  • 1 egg (separated)

directions

  • 1

    Place dough in greased bowl to rise overnight or leave out at room temperate for an hour.

    Roll out dough.

  • 3

    Spread with egg yolk, spread shredded mozzarella (or other cheese), layer salami and pepperoni.

    Repeat as necessary.

  • 5

    Roll up and pinch edges to keep juices in.

  • 6

    Spread with remaining egg white, sprinkle with sesame seeds, place on greased cookie sheet or on tin foil.

  • 7

    Bake at 350 until golden brown (about 30-40 minutes).

  • 8

    Let rest, slice and serve.
