Chicken Wings
ingredients
- 3 lbs chicken wings
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 3/4 cups water
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Divide each wing in half and place in a single layer on a broiler rack. Bake in hot oven for 30 minutes turning once. Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, ginger and pepper in a small sauce pan. Stir in water, lemon juice and soy sauce stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Bake for 40 minutes. Brush or baste several times
