Autumn Apple, Pear, and Cheddar salad with pecans
These Saucer Sisters love anything Cristy makes!
ingredients
- 1 c apple juice
- 2 T cider vinegar
- 1 t extra virgin olive oil
- salt & pepper
- 10 c gourmet salad greens (10 oz)
- 1 c seedless red grapes, halved
- 1 McIntosh apple, cored and cut into 18 wedges
- 1 Bartlett pear, cored and cut into 18 wedges
- 1/4 c shredded cheddar cheese(feta is better, adds more flavor)
- 3 T chopped pecans, toasted
- honey nut or sweetened cranberries
directions

Place juice in pan, bring to boil and reduce it to 3 T in about 10 minutes.

Combine juice, vinegar, oil, salt & pepper and whisk it together.

Combine greens, grapes, apple & pear in large bowl. Drizzle apple juice mixture; toss gently to coat.

Sprinkle with cheese and nuts
