Mom's Cheesy Garlic Bread

ingredients

  • 1 loaf long french bread
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups cubed jack cheese
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
  • 2 teaspoons lemon pepper
  • Optional: tomatoes, black olives

directions

Slice bread in half lengthwise, and tear out inside of french bread. Brown the torn bread in butter, garlic, and sesame seeds. Set aside. Mix sour cream, jack cheese, Parmesan, parsley, pepper, and bread. Stuff mixture back into bread. Sprinkle with cheddar and bake open-faced on foil in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Top with tomatoes and olives if desired.
