Hot Apple Tea Cake
ingredients
Pudding- 2 cups self raising flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 x large tin pie apples
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar (ordinary or Castor sugar) or less if you don’t want it too sweet
- 3/4 cup ideal milk
- 1 tsp caramel essence
directions
Pudding

Beat eggs and sugar ’till creamy.

Add milk and then butter.

Add pinch salt and flour. Mix.

Pour into greased dish.

Arrange apples on top of mixture.

Bake for 1/2 hour at 180 degrees Celsius.

Add sauce and bake for further 10 minutes.

Serve with whipped cream or ice-cream.
Sauce

Bring ingredients to a boil stirring constantly.

Pour over pudding and bake for 10 minutes.
