Chocolate Crescent Twist
ingredients
- for streusel:
- 3 tbl flour
- 3 tbl sugar
- 1 tbl butter
- for twist:
- 1 can crescent dinner rolls
- 2/3 cup mini semi-sweet chips
- 1 tbl sugar
- 1-3 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbl butter, melted
- 1 tbl mini semi-sweet chips

Heat oven to 375°. Grease and flour loaf pan.

In small bowl, combine flour & 3 tbl of sugar. With fork, cut in 1 tbl of butter until crumbly.

Unroll dough to form a rectangle, press perferations to seal.

Sprinkle with 2/3 c. of chips, 1 tbl. sugar, cinnamon and half of the streusel mix.

Starting at long side, roll up, pinch edges to seal. Gently twist ring to form a figure 8. Place in pan. Brush w/melted butter, sprinkle with 1 tbl of chips, press lightly into dough.

Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack, remove from pan and serve warm.

Serve with cool whipped topping or ice cream.
