Raspberry Ribbon Pie
This is a pretty & refreshing pie is usually served by our family at Easter, Thanksgiving or Christmas!
ingredients
Red Layer Ingredients- 1, 3 oz. pkg raspberry jello
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1 1/4 c. boiling water
- 1, 10 oz. pkg frozen raspberries (red)
- 9" baked pastry shell
- 1 T. lemon juice
- 1, 3oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 c sifted powdered sugar
- 1 t. vanilla
- Dash of salt
- 1 c. whipped cream or 1 pkg Dream Whip

*Note: This must be layered with white on bottom and Red on top!

-Mix white ingredients together and put in a 9" baked pastry shell that is completely cooled

-Next, mix red ingredients & pour over white ingredients.

In January 1963, Dee Dee had just given birth to Bret & asked Grandma Alta (who was helping her) to make this recipe, which she saw in a Better Homes & Gardens magazine. It’s been in our family ever since.
