Julies Yeast Rolls
ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 pkg yeast mix w/ 1/4 cup warm water
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 4 cup flour
directions

Add shortening and sugar to hot water. Cool!

When cool add yeast and water mixture.

Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Let raise 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

Roll out on a floured cloth (dough is very sticky) into a circle. Cut into a triangle shape and roll up starting at big end of the triangle.

Brush with melted butter. Let raise 15 minutes then bake for 8-10 minutes or until light brown.

After dough is made it can be refrigerated over night. Bring to room temp and double in size before rolling out.
