Lentil Roast

ingredients
- 2 c. cooked lentils
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- one can (41 1/2 oz) evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. cooking oil
- 1 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg, beatin
- 1 t salt or to taste
- 1/2 tsp sage
- 1 tsp grated onion
- 1 c. grated fresh carrots
- 1 c. grated celery
directions
Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Add more bread crumbs if drier loaf is desired. Spoon into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole and bake in a 350°F/180°C oven for 1 hour. Serve with gravy if desired.
