Crockpot Ribs

ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back pork ribs
  • 1 bottle favorite barbeque sauce
  • 1 can amber beer
  • 1 onion, sliced thin
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • salt and pepper

    Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil and place ribs on sheet. Salt and pepper both sides and broil on high until ribs are just browned on both sides.

    Remove ribs from oven and cut apart (allow at least 2-3 bones per piece otherwise they fall asleep too easily)

  • 3

    Place ribs in crock pot with onion and pepper. Pour barbeque sauce and can of beer on top. Cook on high 3-4 hours. Check and stir occasionally. If too much liquid has evaporated add more beer.
