Reuben Sandwiches
Try a Rachel - add 1 1/2 cup coleslaw for the sauerkraut and turkey or chicken for half of the corned beef.
Can use Russian or Thousand Island Dressing too!
ingredients
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon grated onion
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 can sauerkraut, drained
- corned beef
- Swiss cheese
- rye bread

Mix mayonnaise and chili sauce.

Spread over 6 slices of bread.
- 3
Arrange cheese and corned beef and sauerkraut on mayonnaise mixture. Top with remaining bread slices. Spread top slices of bread with margarine. Place sandwiches margarine side down in skillet. Spread top of bread with margarine. Cook uncovered over low heat until bottom is golden. Turn cook until cheese is melted.
