SPINACH DIP

ingredients

  • 1-10 ounce package frozen spinach, thawed, drained and squeezed dry 1 teaspoon salt
  • Vi teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • V2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Vi teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco or to taste
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Vi cup mayonaise
  • Vi cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 3/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

directions

Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate, covered, overnight. Serve with raw vegetables or bread cubes. Makes 2 cups.
