Sausage Breakfast Casserole
This is a great brunch dish that is excellent with or without the sausage.
ingredients
- 8 slices bread, without crusts, buttered and cubed
- 1/2 lb. grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 7 eggs
- 2 3/4 cups milk
- l tsp. dry mustard (optional)
- l tsp. salt
- l lb. mild sausage browned and crumbled
directions

Layer 1/2 bread cubes, 1/2 cheese, and sausage in a greased 9“x13” casserole dish. Repeat layering.

Beat eggs and combine with milk, mustard and salt.

Pour over mixture.

Cover and chill overnight.

Bake at 350° for approximately 45 minutes.
