Parmesan Pasta "Pally"
ingredients
- 16 oz pasta (penne or egg noodles)
- 3 Tbs Parmesan cheese
- 3 Tbs margarine
- garlic salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups meat (shrimp or chicken or kielbasa work well)
- 2 cups chopped vegetables (broccoli or red/yellow/orange peppers, asparagus,red onion, all work well)
- 1 TB minced garlic
directions
boil the pasta in large pot of lightly salted water. Cook until al dente, about 8 minutes. While noodles are cooking, place chopped vegetables into large skillet with 1tb of margarine, 1 Tb minced garlic and salt and pepper to taste. Saute on medium heat for about 8 minutes. Drain the pasta, return to the hot pot along with 2TB margarine and Parmesan cheese. Toss well, add vegetables and toss again. Serve hot.
