- 4 rib eye steaks
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper maybe garlic salt
- 2 tablespoons butter

Rub steaks with seasonings and olive oil and let sit for 1 hour at room temperature.

Melt the 2 tablespoons in a skillet over medium heat (never heat meat on high; it decreases the nutritional value)

Add the steak to the skillet and sear on both sides. Turn and cook 5 medium per side for medium rare.
