Bok Choy with Soy Sauce & Butter
Delicious and easy.
ingredients
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 heads bok choy (2 lbs), trimmed and cut crosswise into 1/4-inch-thick slices
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Stir together water and soy and oyster sauces in a small bowl.

Heat oil in a 10- to 12-inch heavy skillet over moderately high heat until hot but not smoking. Add bok choy and salt and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add soy mixture and butter and stir-fry until bok choy is crisp-tender, 1 to 2 minutes.
