Granola Bars
A delicious snack full of color, tecture, and goodness
ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat or
- unbleached flour
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- (optional)
- 1 cup dried fruit and nut
- mix (optional)
- Filling options:any jam , jelly or pie filling, chocolate chips or spread, peanut butter, etc

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, softened butter, soda, and powder until it becomes a crumble texture (if too wet add a little more flour and oats).

Spray a 13/9in baking dish. Take 2/3 of crumble mixture and press into dish. That is your base!

Take filling and dollop or spread over your base.

Take remaining 1/3 crumble mixture and spread over filling. from one end to other .

Place in oven and bake for 25—30 min until golden brown.

Let sit for 15min before you dig in, so it may set. Enjoy!!!
