Sour Cream Cheesecake - from Alan's mom
Simple delicious cheesecake recipe. Can make fruit topping to go on top as well or eat with just sour cream topping.
ingredients
- Crust:
- 1 2/3 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 6 tbsp melted butter
- Cake:
- 1 1/2 lbs cream cheese, softened.
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 whole eggs beaten
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- Topping:
- 1 pint sour cream
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

For the crust: Mix and pat first four ingredients into a 13x 9 pan. Pat it flat with hands or a glass.

Beat cream cheese, add sugar and mix. Add eggs one at a time and mix after each. Add vanilla. Pour into dish. Bake at 375 for 20 to 30 minutes (in waterbath so top doesn’t crack).

Beat topping ingredients together and pour on top of cooked cheesecake. Bake at 500 degrees for five minutes.
