Fish Casserole
ingredients
- 2 cups flaked cooked white fish
- 1/4 cup minced green pepper
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 2 tablespoons butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 dry bread crumbs
directions
sauté green pepper and onion in butter. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and flour. Cook several minutes. Add milk and fold in chesese and fish. Squirt in lemon juice. Put in baking dish and top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until browned.
