Campanelle A La Rosa
Pasta in Red Sauce
ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic minced
- 2-3 Italian sausages
- 1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup red wine
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
- fresh cracked pepper
- 1 lb campanelle or fusilli pasta

1. Heat oil in deep pan. Add garlic and sauté 1 minute. Add sausage (if using) and cook 5 minutes. Add 1 jar spaghetti sauce and 1 cup wine. Allow to simmer 1/2 hour.

2. Meanwhile, cook pasta per package instructions. After sauce has simmered, add cream, peas, fresh chopped basil, and pepper. Stir to combine.

3. Add cooked pasta & stir to coat. Serve with grated parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
