Grilled Peanut Butter and Chutney

These are delicious. Crunchy, salty, sweet and savory.

ingredients

  • 8 slices hearty seven or nine grain bread
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup Major Grey’s Mango Chutney (preferably Crosse and Blackwell). Large pieces cut up.
  • Softened butter
  • Kosher salt

directions

  • 1

    Preheat non-stick skillet over low heat. Spread outsides of bread with softened butter and season with Kosher salt. Spread insides of bread with chutney and peanut butter. Brown outsides of sandwiches slowly over low heat.

    Remove from heat. Cut off crusts and divide each sandwich into four pieces. Season with kosher salt. Serve warm with cocktails.
