Cheeseburger Macaroni
When I’m feeling lazy, this is a very simple and tasty dish to make and I usualy double the recipe! Great for potluck parties, for some reason, it’s always a hit at our annual church picnic.
ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 1 cup dried elbow macaroni
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste

Brown ground beef and onion, in a large skillet, drain fat. Return browned ground beef to skillet and return to heat.

Add undrained stewed tomatoes and 1 cup water.

Stir in elbow macaroni, bring to boil and reduce heat; simmer covered for about 10 minutes or until macaroni is done, stirring once.

Stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
