  • 1 2 1/2-3 pound Frying Chicken, cut up
  • Salt, Black Pepper, to taste
  • 5 Tbls sweet Hungarian Paprika
  • 5 Tbls Shortening
  • 1 cup finely chopped Onion
  • 3 Tbls Tomato Puree
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1-2 cups Chicken Stock
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper, cut into finger length slices (optional)
  • 3/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
