Grandma Mo's Autumn Apple Crisp
When leaves start to fall and the weather starts to chill, warm up with this crisp, which showcases the best flavors of autumn.
ingredients
- 4 cups sliced tart apples
- 2/3 to 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/3 cup margarine or butter, softened

Preheat oven to 375°.

Arrange fruit in greased baking dish.

Mix brown sugar, oats, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit.

Bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes.

Serve warm. Great with vanilla ice cream!
