Baked Brie Topped with Slivered Almonds and served with Apples
Delicate, sweet and cheesy appetizer.Brie wrapped in pastry and baked until it has thoroughly melted inside is one of the world’s easiest yet tastiest appetizers. In this recipe the Brie is topped with Apricot preserves, surrounded with pastry.
ingredients
- 1 large Brie
- 2 pkgs Crescent Rolls
- 1 jar Apricot preserves
- Slivered Almonds
- 1 beaten Egg
- 1 Lemon
- 2 Apples cored and sliced 1/4 inched.

Open Crescent Rolls, roll out into large circle. Place dough on cookie sheet. Prick dough with fork to make holes. Place the Brie in the center of dough. Spread preserves on top of Brie. Wrap Brie with dough. Brush the top of the brie with beaten egg. Sprinkle with Almonds. Bake til golden.

Slice appples and then squeeze lemon juice on them so they don’t turn brown.

When your Brie is done, Plate the Brie and surround with Apples and serve warm.

Bake on cookie Bake at 350° for 15-18 minutes, or until dough is golden brown.
