Carbonara
ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 6 slices bacon, cut into 1/4 inch pieces (you can also use cut up pepperoni or salami)
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 5 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Cook the bacon.

Cook the spaghetti or other pasta in boiling water for abotu 10 minutes or until done. Drain.

Immediately pour on the eggs, parmesan cheese and butter. Make sure the eggs are cooking, then add olive oil, seasonings and bacon or other meat.
