ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 4 teaspoons jalapenos
  • 1/4 cup white onion
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 6 turns freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

directions

  • 1

Cut avocado into chunks and mix all ingredients into a bowl. Mash it all together until thoroughly mixed but somewhat chunky. It can be served immediately, but it is a lot better if it sits in the fridge for a few hours to let the flavors mix.

  • 2

If the avocados are small I use three and keep the rest of the ingredients roughly the same. Anything can be tweaked to adjust to particular tastes and preferences.

notes

Fresh garlic, lemon juice, lime juice and cilantro are best. But it's still very good with jarred and bottled varieties.
