no sugar, all spice chili
ingredients
- 1T olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 medium to large onion chopped
- 1lb ground lamb
- 1c stock of choice
- .25c dry quinoa
- 1c dry lentils
- 1 whole roasted red pepper, chopped
- .5 small jalapeno, chopped, seeds removed
- .5t cinnamon
- 1T cumin
- dash ground clove
- 1T chili powder
- 1t crushed red pepper
- squeeze of lime
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
- sprinkle xylitol or
- 1 drop stevia extract
- 1T cilantro
- pinch of basil
- water
- yogurt and cheese for garnish
directions

heat olive oil on medium heat

add garlic and onion and a little salt

sautee until onions are translucent

add lamb and brown

add stock

add quinoa, lentils and peppers

add enough water to cover plus .5-1 inch

cover and simmer on low heat until quinoa and lentils are tender

add water or stock as needed

stir in spices, lime and sweetener
