Kathy's Turkey Divan

A wonderful Turkey, Broccoli and sauce together with Parmesan cheese and baked

ingredients

  • 20 oz broccoli-fresh or frozen
  • 2 pounds turkey or chicken-cooked
  • 2 cups turkey or chicken broth
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 6 Tablespoons flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 3 Tablespoons sherry
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese

directions

  • 1

    melt butter, add flour and cook together until flour is coated with the butter and has boiled and makes itself into a ball. Add stock or broth all at once and stir over low heat until mixture is thick, boil for a minute. Take off heat and add cream & sherry.

    Layer turkey, broccoli and sauce in a cooking dish. Then, layer one more time only add the parm. cheese to the second half of the sauce. Pour the sauce over the whole works and bake for 20 minutes until bubbly.
