Gulliver's Cream Corn
This corn recipes is a classic favorite. Served at every holiday dinner that I can remember. Its a big hit.
ingredients
- 2 packages (20 oz) frozen kernel corn
- 8 oz. (1/2 pt.) Whipping cream
- 8 oz. (1/2 pt.) milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 tsp. sugar
- 1 pinch of white or cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp. melted butter
- 2 tbsp. butter
directions
Combine all ingredients except the last two in the pot and bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Blend butter with flour, add the corn, and remove from heat. Put finished corn in a heat proof casserole dish . The sprinkle with parmesan cheese and place in over until it is evenly brown.
