Mississippi Style Green Beansemtripp
- 2 cans French Style green beans, drained
- 6 strips of bacon, fried
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1 white onion, thinly sliced
Put drained beans in a casserole dish and top with onions. Mix together.
Mix sugar and vinegar with bacon drippings in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
Pour mixture over beans and onions. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
Cover and let sit in refrigerator over night. Reheat (covered) at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
Crumble bacon on top.
Can use four cans of green beans.
