ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of Grand Marnier
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Brioche scraps
  • 1 tablespoon of milk chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of butterscotch chips
  • Butter, to butter the ramekins
  • Individual-sized ramekins

    Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

    Cut the brioche into roughly 1cm cubes. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the eggs, milk, brown sugar, Grand Marnier, and vanilla. Beat until well mixed. Butter the ramekins and place a few brioche cubes at the bottom of each. Divide the chocolate and butterscotch between the ramekins and cover with the remaining brioche. Pour the egg mixture over the brioche, and lightly push down with a fork until all the pieces are covered with the egg mixture.

    Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes, or until the egg mixture is just set.Enjoy!
