Loaded Mashed Potatoes

ingredients

  • 6-8 large russet potatoes
  • 1 pkg bacon
  • 2-3 stalks of green onions (optional)
  • 3/4c milk
  • 4T butter (or to taste)
  • 1 1/2 c sour cream
  • 2 c cheddar cheese
  • 1t salt
  • 1t pepper

directions

Peel & cut potatoes (unless you like the skins). Boil in water till soft. While boiling, fry bacon. When bacon cools, crumble it. When potatoes are cooked, drain and mash. Adding in milk. Blend in sour cream, bacon, salt, pepper & butter. Top with cheddar cheese.
