Pot roast
ingredients
- 3 lb chuck roast cut into bite size peices
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 6 celery, chopped
- 10 petite red potatoes, halved
- 4 tsp garlic
- 2 tbsp of worchester
- 1 can beef broth
- 6 cups water
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- crusty bread
directions
Pour two tablespoons of olive oil in dutch oven and brown meat. Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Cover meat with tomato sauce and beef broth. Add vegetables to dutch oven. Cover vegetables and meat with water. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook in oven at 350 for 3 hours.
