Dutch Apple Tart
ingredients
- DOUGH:
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cup flour
- 5 - 8 apples
- handful of raisins
- TOPPING:
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp almond extract
- 1 tbsp flour

Mix together the butter, sugar, egg white, baking powder, vanilla and flour, till it forms a dough. Split the dough in half. Press 1/2 into a greased spring form pan.

Slice and peel the apples. Layer apples and raisins over dough.

Mix sugar, cinnamon, extract and flour together and sprinkle over apples.

Crumble the remaining dough over the cinnamon. Beat egg yolk and spoon over crumbles.

Bake 325° for 50 - 60 minutes.

Serve with whip cream or ice cream.
